ServiceNow Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee Agile delivery for one or more ServiceNow teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing sprint execution, coordinating releases, and ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and business priorities.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, ServiceNow process owners, and stakeholders to refine and prioritize backlogs, convert epics and user stories into actionable tasks, set sprint goals, and maintain visibility in delivery.

• Mentor and coach teams on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.

• Recognize and eliminate delivery obstacles, manage risks, dependencies, and RAID items, and utilize performance metrics to foster improvements.

• Implement process enhancements that boost efficiency, quality, and predictability.

• Act as the main communication and coordination hub among development teams, engagement managers, stakeholders, and leadership.

• Offer clear status reporting, facilitate decision-making, assist in change management, and encourage shared ownership of delivering business value.

• Promote continuous improvement and support teams in delivering high-quality ServiceNow solutions that align with enterprise business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development, platform engineering, or enterprise technology delivery teams using Agile methodologies.

• 4+ years of experience facilitating Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, dependency management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow platform implementations, enhancements, or product delivery teams in enterprise environments.

• 2+ years of experience using Agile management tools such as Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow Agile Development.

• 1+ year of experience driving cross-functional collaboration, resolving risks and impediments, managing organizational change, and executing delivery within a complex matrixed environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

• Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or similar Agile certification.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other ServiceNow platform certifications are preferred.

• Experience with scaled Agile delivery frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS is preferred.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow platform capabilities, application development lifecycles, enterprise service management processes, and ServiceNow Agile Development.

• Ability to coach high-performing teams, facilitate organizational change, resolve complex delivery challenges, influence stakeholder decision-making, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and team performance metrics.

• Preferred candidates are located on the East Coast or Midwest and able to support EST/CST business hours.
