Scrum Master / Product Owner – Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and articulate the vision for data products, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the business.

• Organize, prioritize, and manage the Product Backlog based on value, impact, and business requirements.

• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, including Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, and Data Science.

• Convert customer and business requirements into clear specifications, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Lead Discovery sessions, refinement meetings, ceremonies, and alignment discussions with various stakeholders.

• Facilitate communication among teams and assist in managing dependencies and obstacles.

• Monitor success metrics and KPIs, ensuring progressive, results-driven deliveries.

• Aid in the development of data product roadmaps and strategies.

• Participate in initiatives concerning the adoption, governance, quality, and scalability of data solutions.

• Promote a collaborative approach aimed at delivering value to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or in similar data product/project management positions.

• Familiarity with data products, Analytics, Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, or Data Governance.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, as applied to data teams and projects.

• Capability to translate business needs into data solutions, User Stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, analysts, data scientists, and BI experts.

• Background in managing roadmaps, Discovery processes, and backlogs.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across various organizational levels and departments.

• Familiarity with or experience using Azure and Databricks is advantageous.

• Experience in data product and data platform environments is a plus.

• Background in data governance, quality, and scalability initiatives is a plus.

• Experience with data projects in the healthcare industry is a plus.
