Senior Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead Agile ceremonies for teams, ensuring alignment, focus on sprint goals, and ongoing value delivery.

• Assist in crafting user stories and acceptance criteria, alongside effective backlog prioritization.

• Work in partnership with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and teams for demand refinement and planning.

• Continuously assess, analyze, and enhance workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.

• Track Agile metrics and indicators to boost predictability and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Eliminate obstacles and blockers that impact team productivity and efficiency.

• Cultivate a culture of self-organization, collaboration, continuous improvement, and psychological safety.

• Enhance integration between business and technology functions, reinforcing team communication and alignment.

• Distribute best practices in agility and process enhancement.

• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and enablement initiatives to elevate the organization’s Agile maturity.

• Promote the evolution of working methods by endorsing experimentation, learning, and ongoing adaptation.

• Contribute to building high-performing, results-driven teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Master, or Agile Coach in software development and digital product environments.

• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Design Sprint methodologies.

• Proven experience in leading and facilitating Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Refinement sessions.

• Familiarity with metrics such as Throughput, Lead Time, Cycle Time, Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFD), Burn-down, and Burn-up.

• Capability to gather, analyze, and present metrics to aid decision-making and enhance delivery predictability.

• Experience in identifying, managing, and removing technical, operational, and organizational impediments.

• Advanced proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Azure Boards, or comparable tools.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to influence stakeholders at various organizational levels and foster collaboration across teams.

• Relevant certifications such as PSM I/II, CSM, PSPO, PMI-ACP, KMP, or equivalent are advantageous.

• Familiarity with frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, Nexus, or the Spotify Model is beneficial.

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and microservices is a plus.

• Experience in leading workshops and advanced facilitation activities is an asset.

• Experience in defining and tracking OKRs is a plus.

• Prior experience as a developer, technical analyst, or QA professional is a plus.
