Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor Scrum teams to promote self-organization and achieve sprint objectives

• Demonstrate the value generated by the teams and the Scrum Master role

• Enhance team-level work and broader processes in collaboration with the Product Owner, business units, and other development and QA teams

• Tailor the approach pragmatically rather than adhering rigidly to Scrum guidelines

• Oversee the team's daily tasks, taking on roles as a coach, Scrum Master, or problem-solver as needed

• Facilitate communication and Scrum team ceremonies

• Collaborate with Polish and British developers, testers, DevOps engineers, Data Engineers, Project Managers, and Scrum Masters

• Contribute to cutting-edge document management software that supports clinical research

• Engage with CTOs, Heads of Development, and Team Leaders to present and advocate for solutions, drive change, and conduct root cause analysis

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of commercial experience with Agile methodologies

• Recognize that "Scrum Master" is merely a title, with a willingness to function as a hands-on work coordinator who adapts flexibly to various challenges

• Proven ability to demonstrate and communicate the value provided by both development teams and the Scrum Master role

• Experience in driving improvements that extend beyond a single team’s scope — engaging with the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and other development and QA teams

• Capability to think independently and pragmatically instead of strictly following the Scrum Guide

• Practical experience interacting with CTOs, Heads of Development, and Team Leaders — advocating for solutions, promoting change, and conducting root cause analysis

• Ability to assertively manage workloads by saying no when necessary

• Knowledge of product development

• Strong people management abilities

• Technical expertise

• Agile Certification from Scrum.org and experience applying it within development teams
