This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Expand upon an existing custom scoped application and its visualizations utilizing the ServiceNow platform and associated technologies.
• Oversee the maintenance of ServiceNow applications, custom components, workflows, and integrations.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to evaluate requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Suggest solution approaches, alternative designs, and implementation strategies.
• Offer technical direction and mentorship to members of the development team.
• Tailor and sustain ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and other relevant platform technologies.
• Configure platform functionalities, workflows, business rules, and user experiences.
• Create responsive user interfaces and visualizations utilizing AngularJS, React, HTML5, CSS, and related frameworks.
• Work alongside business and analytics teams to grasp priorities and deliver technical solutions.
• Articulate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Counsel business stakeholders on new technologies, platform capabilities, and best practices.
• Ensure that deliverables are comprehensive, precise, of high quality, and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Engage in solution testing, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation and facilitate team knowledge-sharing.
• Keep abreast of ServiceNow enhancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Spot opportunities for process improvement, increased automation, and enhanced user experiences.
• Contribute to the establishment of development standards and operational best practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of application development experience on the ServiceNow platform is required.
• Must be a United States (U.S.) Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green card).
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust with the government is essential.
• Must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform work within the United States.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including administration, customization, and scripting.
• Experience in developing custom ServiceNow applications and bespoke solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting is necessary.
• Familiarity with AngularJS, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, XML/JSON, REST services, and contemporary web development practices.
• Practical experience in designing, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Ability to evaluate complex business requirements and transform them into effective technical solutions.
• Preferred: Experience with ITSM, ITOM, and Scoped Applications.
• Preferred: ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or other relevant credentials.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow AI features, including Now Assist and other platform AI capabilities.
• Experience in supporting or implementing ServiceNow AI-driven solutions in enterprise settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams.
