ServiceNow Developer – ITSM, ITOM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and tailor core ITSM modules, such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog frameworks utilizing the native Glide API.

• Design and implement ITOM functionalities, including Mid Server setups, automated Discovery processes, Service Mapping patterns, and Event Management rules.

• Create custom programmatic scripts, encompassing Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes, and intricate data validation loops using JavaScript.

• Construct automated orchestration workflows within Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.

• Develop integration pipelines through Integration Hub to connect ServiceNow with external cloud infrastructures, deployment pipelines, and third-party monitoring systems.

• Oversee the CMDB by ensuring CI health metrics, structural relationships, identification and reconciliation rules (IRE), and dependency maps are maintained.

• Direct update set management and deployment processes, including peer code reviews, debugging processing log errors, and resolving merge conflicts across delivery streams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of foundational IT systems engineering experience.

• 4+ years of focused ServiceNow design, development, implementation, coding, configuration, and support experience.

• Strong technical expertise in JavaScript, ServiceNow Glide API frameworks, JSON structures, REST/SOAP protocols, and relational database logic.

• Profound knowledge of ITIL v4 frameworks, network topologies, infrastructure monitoring, cloud computing architectures, and CMDB governance models.

• Required ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

• Required ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM or ITOM.

• Preferred ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.

• Previous experience in implementing ServiceNow Service Portal components using AngularJS, HTML5, and CSS bootstrapping tools.
