ServiceNow SOM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure and develop solutions for ServiceNow SOM / Service Operations Workspace.

• Customize and configure SOM workspace components according to specifications.

• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, and other related ServiceNow components.

• Utilize Flow Designer and manage basic ServiceNow integrations.

• Assist in the development and configuration of workspace pages, forms, lists, and associated UI components.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during both development and production support phases.

• Engage in unit testing, defect resolution, deployments, and documentation tasks.

• Collaborate effectively with senior developers, functional consultants, architects, and business teams.

• Adhere to ServiceNow development standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

• 2–4 years of pertinent experience in ServiceNow SOM / Service Operations Workspace.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred or required based on the project needs.

• Practical experience with ServiceNow SOM / Service Operations Workspace.

• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform's configuration and development processes.

• Proficient in JavaScript and basic Glide APIs.

• Familiarity with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, and UI Actions.

• Basic knowledge of Flow Designer and REST APIs.

• Understanding of ServiceNow tables, forms, lists, roles, and update sets.

• Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.

• Experience with UI Builder / Now Experience Framework is preferred.

• Familiarity with ITSM, CSM, FSM, or other ServiceNow modules is preferred.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams is preferred.
