ServiceNow ITAM – Hardware Asset Management Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain intricate Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions within the HAM application.

• Design and execute automated workflows for hardware requests, deployment, and reclamation utilizing Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

• Generate Service Catalog items for hardware requests that include advanced client-side validations and approval protocols.

• Configure and resolve issues related to ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, and third-party hardware inventory integrations.

• Create REST/SOAP integrations to link ServiceNow with external asset tracking platforms, procurement systems, and vendor catalogs.

• Enhance background jobs, reconciliation engines, and scheduled scripts for better performance.

• Assist in platform upgrades and the normalization of hardware data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development, particularly in ITAM/SAM.

• Expertise in JavaScript and the ServiceNow API framework.

• Strong technical knowledge of SAM Pro data models, Software Installation tables, Discovery Models, and Software Models.

• Significant experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and IntegrationHub steps.

• Possession of Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

• Preferred: Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM).

• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
