ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that align with business needs.

• Customize and configure modules for CSM, ITSM, the Knowledge Base, and ServiceNow Communities.

• Create workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.

• Maintain and enhance the current ServiceNow applications and services.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure adherence to platform best practices, performance optimization, and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any platform-related issues and defects.

• Support platform upgrades, testing, and deployment processes.

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Customer Service Management (CSM).

• Strong hands-on experience with IT Service Management (ITSM).

• Strong hands-on experience with Knowledge Management / Knowledge Base.

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Communities; experience with Service Portal is a plus.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations.

• Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model and platform capabilities.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of CMDB and asset management is desirable.

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery or Service Mapping is desirable.

• Experience with Knowledge Centred Services (KCS) methodology is a plus.

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA or CAD are beneficial.

• Experience with UI Builder or modern ServiceNow UX frameworks is a plus.

• Experience in ITIL-based service management environments is preferred.

• Experience with scripting, automation, and ServiceNow AI capabilities is preferred.

• ServiceNow Administrator Certification (CSA) is an advantage.

• Advanced certifications (CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, or CIS-ITOM) are advantageous.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar professional experience is highly desirable.
