ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist a program within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

• Aid the VA Health Portfolio’s IT initiatives, healthcare information management, and ongoing software support.

• Deliver technical oversight, functional planning, and documentation analysis to support the EPMO Health Portfolio.

• Develop, construct, and implement a bi-directional integration between ServiceNow and JIRA.

• Establish a scalable and secure connector that synchronizes incidents, demands, change requests, and other work items across both platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Capability to secure a Public Trust.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or related disciplines, along with 5+ years of pertinent experience.

• An additional 5+ years of experience may be considered in place of educational qualifications.

• Previous experience with the Department of VA or U.S. Government contracting is essential.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

• ServiceNow CAD certification and practical experience in developing custom applications on the Now Platform.

• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, webhook frameworks, authentication models, and cross-platform data mapping.

• Knowledge of Jira’s project structure, issue data models, workflows, and service account configurations.

• Ability to design scalable integration architectures that comply with enterprise security, governance, and SDLC standards.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Veterans Affairs Public Trust.
