This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Assist in the ongoing ServiceNow continuous improvement initiatives for an enterprise-wide implementation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to collect and document both business and system requirements.
• Aid in the design, development, configuration, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
• Ensure the maintenance and support of continuous service enhancements across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, ITAM, CMDB, HAM, and HRSD modules.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, development reviews, project meetings, and testing procedures.
• Contribute to the creation of use cases, testing methodologies, implementation strategies, SOPs, and system architecture documentation.
• Assist in configuring Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
• Support automation workflows, unit testing, release management, production support, and system integrations.
• Generate status reports and presentations while maintaining project documentation.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams under guidance.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, or proven foundational knowledge of its architecture and functionalities.
• Experience in design, development, or support roles on a platform or software project.
• Basic understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM principles.
• A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Readiness to work within an Agile framework, engage in daily scrums and ceremonies, and update stories in ServiceNow.
• Basic experience or coursework in JavaScript/Glide, HTML5, jQuery, and CSS; familiarity with Angular JS is a bonus.
• ServiceNow Certifications.
• Knowledge of AI integration within ServiceNow, including Now Assist and AI Agents.
• Strong expertise in the ServiceNow Suite, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and portal development.
• Proficiency in ITAM (SAM/HAM) and ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping) modules.
• Must reside in the Washington, DC area.
• Willingness to work during East Coast core hours.
