ServiceNow Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between enterprise stakeholders and the technical development team.

• Oversee project intake and extract intricate technical requirements.

• Convert business needs into actionable user stories utilizing ServiceNow.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with enterprise customers and stakeholders.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in ServiceNow.

• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions.

• Provide project management support and undertake Scrum Master responsibilities as required.

• Ensure precise tracking of tasks, story statuses, and efforts on the Agile board.

• Eliminate delivery obstacles and uphold delivery velocity.

• Mentor and guide business analysts.

• Conduct discovery sessions and outline the scope for new modules and capabilities.

• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs in ServiceNow.

• Develop and manage formal Change Requests in ServiceNow.

• Lead comprehensive User Acceptance Testing and obtain formal sign-off.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers throughout the Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Ensure compliance with FAA digital governance and enterprise architecture frameworks.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, process maps, user manuals, and operational integration plans.

• Suggest, update, and document process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with 3 years of relevant experience; or an Associate's Degree in Information Technology with 10 years of relevant experience; or a High School diploma with 11 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in Agile project management.

• Proficiency in stakeholder discovery, project intake, and ServiceNow workflows.

• Understanding of Change Request processes and governance within ServiceNow.

• Capability to support developers and address delivery challenges in the SDLC.

• Strong skills in technical documentation.

• Experience in IT projects following the PMI framework.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens or green card holders who have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 years, with the ability to secure a public trust.

• ServiceNow certifications are preferred.

• Scrum Master/Agile experience is preferred.

• Experience with FedRamp authorized software is preferred.
