Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional service and customer support during field and in-house visits or dispatches.

• Oversee on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities.

• Identify errors or technical issues and establish suitable solutions.

• Generate prompt and detailed service reports.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of processes.

• Safely operate vehicles and utilize field automation systems.

• Adhere to company field procedures and protocols.

• Collaborate with the technical team and disseminate information throughout the organization.

• Grasp customer requirements and provide relevant recommendations and briefings.

• Reach out to customers regarding customer-file processes.

• Foster positive relationships with customers.

• Assist with domestic and international customer installations, maintenance, repairs, training, and various service activities.

• Share technical expertise and best practices while supporting the development and training of junior team members.

• Meet assigned service KPIs, including utilization, response time, service quality, customer satisfaction, and other defined performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical degree in chemistry, biology, physical measurements, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of demonstrated field service experience.

• Proficient in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.

• Capability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.

• Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

• Strong customer orientation.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to share knowledge, collaborate effectively, and aid in the development of colleagues.

• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
