📋 Description

• Conduct investigations, evaluations, and resolutions for low exposure, low complexity mechanical breakdown claims under direct supervision.

• Adhere to established protocols to manage claims efficiently while providing a customer-focused claims service.

• Identify failure causes and review contractual language to apply the relevant coverage.

• Offer technical assistance to external sales personnel.

• Engage with service shops, dealership staff, claimants, inspectors, and external sales teams to collect information and resolve claims.

• Handle incoming calls related to mechanical breakdown claims.

• Assess applicable contractual coverage and determine the best replacement or repair solutions.

• Negotiate costs and labor hours to facilitate timely claim resolutions.

• Proactively share information, respond to inquiries, and adhere to customer protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive repair field OR a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year of experience in automotive repair OR completion of a Zurich approved Apprenticeship program with an Associate Degree and 1 year of experience in automotive repair.

• Experience in customer service.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Background in automotive industry sectors including service repair, auto technology, parts department, machinist, powersports technician, service management, or service advising.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Experience collaborating and working across various teams.

• ASE certification.

• Availability to work a shift between 7am–8pm Central Standard Time.
