This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Deliver continuous systems administration support for Windows environments across various locations.

• Install, manage, and troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, and connectivity components.

• Provide hands-on assistance, troubleshooting, and technical expertise.

• Analyze and suggest commercially available hardware and software solutions.

• Participate in the design, development, and upkeep of systems administration infrastructure, which includes operating systems, virtualization platforms, cloud infrastructure, directory and identity services, monitoring and management tools, middleware, and applications.

• Implement automation, process intelligence, and AI-driven solutions.

• Collect client specifications, requirements, and systems expectations.

• Collaborate with client contacts on operational recommendations.

• Configure and oversee software performance, stress, and load testing.

• Address daily incident tickets to ensure Windows system availability and reliability.

• Conduct training sessions for users and systems administration team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and residency are mandatory.

• BA/BS degree with 6-8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong proficiency in Windows systems administration.

• Experience with Microsoft Server, including clustering capabilities.

• Familiarity with VMware.

• Understanding of disaster recovery (DR) and high-availability (HA) principles, particularly in cloud environments such as Oracle OCI and Microsoft Azure.

• Eligibility for any necessary U.S. Government authorizations for access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
