Senior Video Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create performance marketing video advertisements from initial brief to final output.

• Develop lightweight scenes and mini-games in Unity to stage and capture footage.

• Quickly generate variations of hooks and iterate on successful concepts, concentrating on the first three seconds.

• Utilize the top-performing ads in the industry as a standard for quality comparison.

• Import supplied 3D character assets into the game engine.

• Stage, animate, and integrate 3D assets into hooks that encourage installations.

• Take full ownership of advertising projects from concept development to final delivery.

• Conduct game analysis, reverse-engineer a reference advertisement, and create a brief vertical ad for the paid case study.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Practical experience with mobile gaming advertisements and proficiency in Unity for in-engine ad production.

• Strong skills in editing and motion graphics using After Effects, Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Knowledge of the 3D pipeline using Blender, Maya, or similar tools for importing, positioning, lighting, and animating assets.

• A clear understanding of what makes the first three seconds of an advertisement effective.

• Ability to work quickly and independently, providing multiple options based on a brief.

• Capability to develop a comprehensive understanding of how creations perform and the reasons behind their success.

• Experience in the Idle Arcade genre is an asset.

• Familiarity with using AI tools in the production process is encouraged and welcomed.

• A portfolio or reel demonstrating video advertisements or similar performance-driven creative work.
