This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Spearhead the comprehensive revenue cycle transformation strategy, roadmap, and value creation initiatives across front-end, middle, and back-end operations.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities related to revenue growth, cash flow acceleration, accounts receivable, denials management, reimbursement processes, patient collections, and cost-to-collect metrics.
• Establish data-driven transformation priorities utilizing performance analytics, benchmarks, and root-cause analysis.
• Set baselines, targets, milestones, ownership responsibilities, and success metrics, while fostering accountability for tangible financial and operational results.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing leadership team focused on revenue cycle transformation, analytics, and execution.
• Integrate cross-functional workstreams among Operations, Analytics, Technology, and Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Develop governance, performance management, communication, and accountability frameworks.
• Advise client C-suite executives and revenue cycle leaders on performance-related challenges and actionable strategies.
• Provide executive-level insight into transformation progress, value realization, risks, and necessary actions.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technology teams on workflow, process, automation, AI, and technology-driven enhancements.
• Ensure structured implementation plans with clear ownership, measurable KPIs, and transition to operational oversight.
• Monitor execution and value realization, proactively addressing risks and performance shortcomings.
• Maintain expertise in revenue cycle operations, payer behaviors, reimbursement dynamics, regulatory changes, and industry trends.
• Support business development, client growth, and due diligence through assessments, opportunity identification, solution design, and transformation roadmaps.
• Safeguard and disclose patients’ PHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of demonstrated experience in a leadership position within revenue cycle services, ideally in a hospital-based healthcare setting.
• Profound understanding of revenue cycle management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with state and federal governmental, legal, and regulatory requirements pertaining to front-end, middle, and back-end revenue cycle operations.
• Leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire, mentor, and nurture a high-performing team.
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management systems, electronic health records (EHR), and client management software.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
• High integrity and reliability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must have a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security needs.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours is required.
