Senior Vice President – Marketing

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy across the enterprise that aligns with MGT's growth goals, market expansion initiatives, and revenue targets.

• Direct MGT's brand strategy and architecture, integrating acquired and legacy brands into a unified enterprise identity, message, and market presence.

• Oversee and unify MGT's distributed marketing organization, establishing an operating model, setting priorities, ensuring accountability, and fostering talent development.

• Take ownership of the enterprise digital and AI-driven marketing strategy, which encompasses website evolution, SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, marketing automation, content distribution, and the adoption of emerging technologies.

• Create integrated demand generation and field marketing programs that generate a qualified sales pipeline and measurable revenue contributions.

• Formulate marketing strategies specifically designed for state, local, and education government buyers.

• Direct MGT's public-sector event strategy, which includes conferences, sponsorships, associations, client forums, and webinars.

• Shape the enterprise's positioning, messaging, thought leadership, content, communications, and public relations efforts.

• Convert complex technology and advisory capabilities into compelling customer value propositions, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement resources.

• Collaborate with Sales, go-to-market teams, pursuit/capture leaders, proposal teams, and practice leaders.

• Establish metrics for marketing performance and dashboards; oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and ROI management.

• Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, competitive analysis, and performance data to uncover growth opportunities.

• Manage the marketing integration for acquisitions, which includes brand migration, communications, digital consolidation, go-to-market coordination, and team integration.

• Prepare and deliver presentations on marketing strategy, brand progress, pipeline contributions, and performance insights to executive leadership and the Board.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, ideally in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

• An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

• At least fifteen (15) years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership roles within a B2B technology, professional services, or similarly complex growth organization.

• Proven success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams across various functions such as brand, digital, demand generation, content, communications, events, and marketing operations.

• Demonstrated experience in leading brand transformation and/or M&A integration, including the consolidation of multiple brands, teams, websites, and market identities.

• Experience marketing to state, local, and education government (SLED) or the broader public sector is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of government buying cycles and event-driven engagement.

• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to align Marketing with Sales and go-to-market teams to drive pipeline, revenue growth, and market expansion.

• Outstanding executive communication skills, change leadership abilities, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.

• Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, digital analytics, and reporting platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Google Analytics, and Power BI is preferred.

• A demonstrated willingness and experience in adopting AI and emerging technologies.
