Senior UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Employ research, testing, and validation methods to shape concepts and enhance designs from the initial stages.

• Collaborate with researchers and broader product teams to transform customer feedback, research insights, and behavioral data into actionable design opportunities.

• Validate assumptions and hypotheses throughout the design process by utilizing evidence-based decision-making.

• Integrate qualitative research with product data and customer behavior to pinpoint pain points and identify improvement areas.

• Take ownership of comprehensive digital experiences across the entire customer journey.

• Convert complex requirements into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, interaction models, and user flows.

• Evolve concepts and sketches into user-friendly digital experiences.

• Design for various products, services, and digital channels.

• Partner with Product, Research, and Engineering teams to harmonize user needs, commercial objectives, and technical feasibility.

• Leverage research insights, behavioral trends, and product performance data to inform design decisions and prioritization.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners to identify opportunities, influence product direction, and establish success metrics.

• Ensure experiences comply with accessibility, usability, and inclusive design standards.

• Produce high-fidelity interface designs and interactive prototypes using Figma.

• Utilize prototypes to explore design approaches, demonstrate interaction behaviors, and test concepts prior to development.

• Design responsive web and mobile experiences adaptable to various screen sizes, devices, and platforms.

• Refine designs based on user testing, stakeholder feedback, and insights from development teams.

• Develop and implement reusable components, interaction patterns, and design standards.

• Contribute to design systems and component libraries.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation and adherence to the intended user experience.

• Advocate for standards in visual design, interaction design, accessibility, and overall design quality.

• Function as part of a cross-disciplinary product team alongside Product, Engineering, Research, and Design experts.

• Articulate design thinking and rationale through research, customer insights, and data.

• Facilitate collaborative sessions and design discussions.

• Engage from discovery and problem definition through design, validation, and delivery phases.

• Promote shared design principles, patterns, and methodologies to foster a consistent customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in UX, Product, or UI Design within digital products and services.

• Proven ability to translate user research, testing, customer insights, and data into effective design solutions.

• Demonstrated skill in creating customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including responsive web/mobile design and prototyping.

• Experience in utilizing and contributing to design systems, component libraries, and reusable patterns.

• Strong understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, and user-centered design principles.

• Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams, collaborating with Product, Research, and Engineering from discovery through to delivery.
