Senior UX Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Plan and execute research that ranges from foundational studies informing immediate product decisions to strategic research that shapes the long-term vision and goals for user experience.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across various product domains.

• Engage early in the product development process while problems are being defined.

• Take ownership of research projects from start to finish, including defining questions, choosing methodologies, conducting studies, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

• Utilize a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, unmoderated testing, behavioral data analysis, and market insights.

• Incorporate AI into daily research activities and assist in shaping team practices for its application.

• Contribute to the research repository, ensuring insights are reusable.

• Benchmark against competitors and triangulate findings with primary customer research.

• Facilitate workshops and develop formats that promote the dissemination of insights.

• Ensure that research findings are implemented in decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in German and fluent in English.

• Several years of experience in qualitative and quantitative user research.

• Deep expertise in UX research methodologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of customer-centric agile product development.

• Strong proficiency in either qualitative or quantitative research, with a commitment to developing the other.

• Solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical reasoning.

• Capability to conduct research at various stages of product development, including generative research, solution validation, and end-to-end research.

• Proactive approach to owning research topics.

• Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to pragmatically scope work, balancing speed and depth.

• Experience with AI tools in research practices.

• Enjoyment of working within a small, cohesive team.
