Senior UX Researcher – 6 month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product and UX Design to develop plans for project, opportunity, and ideation discovery.

• Identify customers and stakeholders while recommending suitable research methodologies.

• Manage comprehensive research processes, including participant recruitment, discussion guide creation, study facilitation, analysis, synthesis, and sharing of findings.

• Execute surveys, in-depth interviews, remote feedback sessions, usability testing, and prototype-driven research.

• Conduct user outreach, use-case exploration, persona and journey mapping, validation, and usability studies.

• Convert customer feedback and research data into actionable insights and recommendations for product strategy and design.

• Facilitate or participate in workshops.

• Articulate strategic research decisions and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.

• Provide project leadership to researchers and designers.

• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, Customer Success, Data Science, and Customer Insights to enhance the understanding of personas, journeys, and use cases while promoting research best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a UX researcher or in a related customer-focused research position.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, human-computer interaction, information systems, or a similar field.

• Proven ability to develop research strategies and discovery plans.

• Proficient in creating discussion guides, selecting methodologies, conducting interviews and studies, and analyzing and synthesizing findings.

• Strong qualitative and quantitative research capabilities.

• Experience with tools such as Dovetail, User Interviews, Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Pendo, or similar platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations approximately four times per year.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot.

• Preference for experience in researching healthcare, medical, regulated, payer, acute-care, or financial applications.

• Experience collaborating in Figma and Miro is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively across Product, UX Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Data Science, Customer Insights, and internal subject matter experts is preferred.
