This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create user-friendly and professional interfaces for both internal and customer-facing web applications.
• Develop customer journey maps and service blueprints that document the complete interactions across different user roles.
• Utilize contemporary service design techniques to synchronize digital experience design with business and operational workflows.
• Perform user research and conduct usability testing.
• Design user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Application Development teams to identify issues, assess solutions, and make informed product decisions.
• Work alongside development teams during the implementation phase to ensure the final product aligns with design intentions and meets user requirements.
• Advocate for consistency, usability, responsiveness, and accessibility in both web and mobile experiences.
• Convert intricate certification and audit workflows into straightforward, user-friendly experiences.
• Keep updated with the latest trends in UX practices, technologies, and design tools, while assessing opportunities for product and process enhancements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 5 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer focused on customer-facing web applications.
• Strategic mindset to link design choices to product strategy and their long-term impact on users.
• Experience in mentoring, developing, and managing designers across various levels.
• Substantial experience in Lean UX methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to create customer journey maps and service blueprints.
• A strong portfolio showcasing modern, professional interface designs for business or enterprise-level web applications.
• Proficient in Figma and/or Claude Design.
• Knowledgeable in service design methodologies and human-centered design principles.
• Capable of effective collaboration with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
• Experience in designing for certification, audit, compliance, or complex multi-role B2B workflow platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards is preferred.
• Experience in contributing to or maintaining a formal design system is preferred.
• Proven success in a fully remote, distributed team setting is preferred.
