This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.
• Create designs for Moises products across Web, Desktop, TV, and Mobile platforms.
• Ensure a seamless experience for musicians transitioning between different platforms.
• Develop products focused on practicing, learning, rehearsing, songwriting, and music production.
• Convert intricate audio AI features into straightforward, user-friendly experiences.
• Identify challenges, investigate solutions, validate concepts, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, AI, and Data teams to deliver products.
• Conduct and compile research with musicians of varying skill levels and use cases.
• Contribute to and advance the scalable design system across all platforms.
• Deliver user value consistently, from engaging with users and aligning messaging to feature rollout.
• Present concepts to leadership, including the CTO and VP of Product.
• Work closely with engineers and other product teams.
• Provide and receive direct, constructive design feedback.
• Report directly to the VP of Product.
• Combine music production knowledge with product design expertise to influence product direction.
• Extensive, hands-on experience in music production; actively creating music using professional tools.
• Proficiency with DAWs and VST/AU plugins.
• Understanding of professional audio workflows, including recording, MIDI, mixing, routing, and signal flow.
• Ideally, experience in designing or building instruments, effects, or plugins.
• Over 5 years of experience designing complex software that is used daily.
• A portfolio showcasing how powerful technology can be simplified, including AI-native products and addressing UX challenges of probabilistic systems.
• Capability to swiftly navigate between different fidelities, from sketches to coded prototypes; experience with motion and interaction animation when necessary.
• Experience in delivering zero-to-one projects in uncertain environments without predefined systems or specifications.
• Expertise in interaction patterns across Web, Desktop, TV, and Mobile platforms.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct user research and translate findings into product direction.
• Prototyping in code as a standard practice; familiarity with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
• Capacity to work remotely and coordinate with teams across different time zones.
• Must be a musician with experience in audio production.
