Senior UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of user interfaces for both web and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and design standards.

• Work collaboratively with product managers and developers to outline user stories, produce wireframes, and build prototypes.

• Perform user research and conduct usability testing to confirm design choices and guarantee a positive user experience.

• Design responsive interfaces that are adaptable to various devices and screen sizes.

• Generate design assets, including icons, illustrations, and animations, to enrich the user interface.

• Establish and uphold design systems and style guides across digital products and services.

• Mentor and offer direction to fellow UI/UX designers on best design practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.

• More than 5 years of experience in UI/UX design.

• A portfolio showcasing a robust understanding of user-centered design principles.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

• Experience in user research and usability testing methodologies.

• At least 2 years of experience in wireframing and prototype development.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their influence on design decisions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

• Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage various projects concurrently.

• Experience in technological services or government sectors is a plus.
