Senior UI Engineer – Angular, React, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the OpenDash 360 UI experience layer and enhance the front-end architecture of the enterprise training and readiness platform.

• Develop interfaces for readiness dashboards, competency visualizations, assessment processes, and administrative workflows.

• Set and uphold front-end standards for component architecture, state management, typed API contracts, testing, and code reviews.

• Design and maintain a reusable component library and design language.

• Transform complex readiness, competency, and assessment data into clear, actionable interfaces and visualizations.

• Manage render performance, bundle size, and load behavior.

• Operate within GitOps and CI/CD pipelines utilizing small batches, automated tests, and frequent deployments.

• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and customer-facing teams to translate vague requirements into delivered interfaces.

• Provide mentorship to engineers as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in building production web applications, including senior or lead roles on a complex, long-standing front-end codebase.

• In-depth knowledge of modern Angular is essential, including standalone components, signals or RxJS-based state, dependency injection, routing, lazy loading, and performance optimization.

• React experience is highly preferred, with knowledge of hooks, modern rendering patterns, and component composition.

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript, including strong typing discipline, generics, and typed front-end/API contracts.

• Solid judgment in front-end architecture, covering state management, module boundaries, build tools, and dependency decisions.

• Experience in unit, component, and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs on Node.js/Express backends.

• Comfortable with GitOps and CI/CD practices.

• Self-motivated with a bias for action.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Must be a US citizen authorized to work in the United States; this position is US-remote.

• Nice-to-have: experience owning a design system or component library at scale.

• Nice-to-have: familiarity with micro-frontend or modular monolith front-end architectures.

• Nice-to-have: experience with enterprise learning, training, LMS, assessment, or workforce analytics platforms.

• Nice-to-have: familiarity with SCORM/xAPI, SSO/SAML/OIDC, or role-based access control.

• Nice-to-have: experience in software delivery in government, DoD, or regulated environments.

• Nice-to-have: knowledge of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor.

• Nice-to-have: familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
