Senior Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with operational subject matter experts (SMEs) and leaders to design, develop, implement, and assess learning solutions.

• Enhance employee performance, accelerate proficiency, and align with business goals.

• Engage with stakeholders to pinpoint performance deficiencies.

• Carry out training needs assessments.

• Develop captivating instructor-led and digital learning experiences.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

• Act as a learning and development authority, promoting instructional excellence, continuous enhancement, and operational readiness throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, training design, organizational development, performance consulting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering both instructor-led and virtual learning programs.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultation abilities.

• Capacity to adapt to change and influence others during organizational transformations.

• Ability to work collaboratively with operational leaders, SMEs, and business partners.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365.

• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Experience in managing multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to travel.

• Preferred: Experience in conducting training needs assessments.

• Preferred: Background in healthcare, benefits administration, insurance, or third-party administration (TPA).

• Preferred: Experience in technical writing and/or editing.

• Preferred: Experience in curriculum development.

• Preferred: Ability to perform needs assessments and provide a documented process improvement strategy.

• Preferred: Experience in evaluating learning effectiveness and business outcomes.

• Preferred: Experience in creating eLearning solutions using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Captivate, or similar authoring tools.

• Preferred: Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS).

• Preferred: CPTD, ATD, instructional design certification, or a similar professional credential.
