This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Develop, deliver, execute, and manage training needs for clients in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Comprehend and convey disease states, market dynamics, and product-specific information.
• Assist in the evaluation, creation, and execution of training initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design and produce training content and materials.
• Conduct engaging live and virtual training sessions, focusing on product knowledge, disease states, and sales skills.
• Aid in creating training and study materials for initial and follow-up classes.
• Facilitate the management of materials through legal, regulatory, and medical reviews.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop slide presentations, workshops, reference guides, job aids, and modules.
• Provide support to Directors of Training and Project Managers through meticulous project management practices.
• Assist with agenda management, Portal/Platform LMS setup, and production services.
• Acquire and apply new knowledge on disease states, branded, and unbranded materials promptly.
• Deliver train-the-trainer, new hire, and curriculum sustainment training.
• Support sales management teams with training materials, workshops, and facilitation at National, Sales, and POA meetings.
• Oversee the Training Project Plan, managing tasks, escalating issues, identifying risks, and handling interdependencies.
• Onboard, develop, and mentor field-based trainers and emerging sales representative leaders through virtual and in-person field rides.
• Prior experience in a pharmaceutical training environment is essential.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical sales environment with exposure to training is preferred.
• Experience in supporting detailed, multi-component programs from inception to completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Product launch or major new indication launch experience is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
• Highly proficient in computer use, particularly with MS Office and related business and communication tools.
• Familiarity with both traditional and modern training methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Working understanding of effective instructional design.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strategic and creative thinking abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Expertise in training and facilitation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a successful sales representative in pharmaceuticals or medical equipment.
• At least 5 years of experience in a national sales training department with curriculum development and delivery is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Suite.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience and advancement within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry in sales or sales training.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Veeva or similar software and Learning Management Systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% based on client training requirements.
