
Senior Training Manager, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the development and delivery of oncology training for commercial field representatives.
• Maintain expertise in disease states, products, and therapeutic areas.
• Create and implement training programs and initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Design and improve curriculum for the Commercial organization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Regulatory teams to ensure the accuracy of medical content and adherence to promotional policies.
• Oversee vendors involved in the development of training content and contract execution.
• Manage projects during the training content development phase.
• Lead training meetings, which include planning, logistics management, vendor oversight, and participant engagement.
• Work in partnership with Marketing, Precision Medicine, and Commercial Leadership to create training that aligns with brand objectives and facilitate rollout to field colleagues.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, external partners, and colleagues from partner companies.
• Build trust and credibility with business partners through consistent interaction.
• Support field sales by participating in sales meetings and routine field rides.
• Design and conduct training work sessions at National Sales and POA Meetings.
• Maintain expertise in facilitation skills for delivering training content.
• Evaluate organizational training needs for clinical fluency and development competencies and provide feedback for innovation.
• Report to the Associate Director of Training.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred.
• Experience as a clinician is preferred.
• Knowledge in the areas of Medical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology is preferred.
• Experience in developing training tools to enhance clinical acumen is a plus.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles, training design concepts, and various platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
• High level of professionalism and the ability to thrive in a complex cross-functional environment.
• Capability to work effectively in an unstructured environment.
• Strategic insight to allocate time effectively to important initiatives.
• Outstanding oral presentation and executive leadership communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to self-motivate and perform efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with AI and innovative technology platforms (such as iPads) and programs like MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerAutomate is highly desirable.
