
Senior Training Manager, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Assist in the creation and implementation of Oncology training for commercial field representatives.
β’ Maintain expertise in disease states, products, and therapeutic areas.
β’ Develop and carry out training programs and initiatives with minimal oversight.
β’ Design and improve the curriculum for the Commercial organization.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Regulatory teams to ensure the accuracy of medical content and adherence to promotional policy.
β’ Manage vendor relationships and contractual requirements for training materials.
β’ Oversee project management during the development of training content.
β’ Conduct training meetings, including planning, logistics, vendor oversight, and participant management.
β’ Partner with Marketing, Precision Medicine, and Commercial Leadership to ensure alignment of training with brand goals and distribute materials to field colleagues.
β’ Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to provide effective training solutions and deliverables.
β’ Align training strategies and tactics with colleagues from partner companies.
β’ Build trust and credibility with business partners through regular interactions.
β’ Support field sales by participating in sales meetings and routine field visits.
β’ Design and conduct training workshops at National Sales and POA Meetings.
β’ Maintain expertise in facilitation skills for delivering training content.
β’ Evaluate training needs related to clinical fluency and development competencies, providing feedback for innovation.
β’ Report to the Associate Director of Training.
β’ A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
β’ 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is preferred.
β’ Experience in Training, Marketing, or Sales within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of Medical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology is preferred.
β’ Experience in developing training tools to enhance clinical knowledge is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with adult learning principles, training design concepts, and platforms is a plus.
β’ Exceptional collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders at various organizational levels.
β’ High level of professionalism and the ability to work in a complex cross-functional environment.
β’ Ability to navigate an unstructured work environment.
β’ Strategic insight to prioritize important initiatives effectively.

β’ Familiarity with AI and innovative technology platforms (iPad), as well as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerAutomate, is highly desirable.
β’ Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
