This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Plan and execute training programs for the RCM department, encompassing accounts receivable, registration, cash management, customer service, payer contract management, and onboarding of new hires.
• Facilitate training on administrative functions and system applications, including athenaIDX, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
• Support process-improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system and personnel efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and operational teams to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Create and uphold course curricula for all RCM functions.
• Develop pathways/job aids, playbooks, eLearning modules, and classroom presentation materials.
• Work in conjunction with the Director - Training & Education to assess the effectiveness of training courses and curricula.
• Identify knowledge gaps among employees and processes, while evaluating the effectiveness of trainees.
• Participate in and lead company training programs.
• Mentor new members of the education and development team, aiding in their professional growth.
• Collaborate with leadership and senior staff to determine training needs.
• Design workshops, videos, and individual training sessions.
• Organize and implement rollouts for new systems, processes, and system updates.
• Manage incoming training requests and coordinate coverage and scheduling.
• Create, utilize, and maintain checklists to ensure training classes are adequately prepared.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Required: Experience in the healthcare industry; anesthesia experience preferred.
• Preferred: Familiarity with athenaIDX.
• Preferred: Knowledge of RCM for physician practices.
• Preferred: Over 10 years of individual and team training experience.
• Preferred: More than 10 years of experience in creating training materials, e-learning modules, curricula, and instructional design.
• Experience in managing curriculum development or e-learning projects.
• Ability to communicate and uphold the confidentiality of sensitive employee-training information.
• Capability to evaluate department practices, procedures, and computer systems and create targeted training programs and materials.
• Leadership skills to guide trainees and assess their understanding and application of the material.
• Ability to manage abstract projects, oversee all project components, coach contributors, and ensure successful project outcomes proactively.
• Initiative, motivation, creativity, and a broad understanding of various areas of expertise.
• Ability to respond positively to changes and assist in leading new training developments.
• Professional communication skills with all management levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient technical writing skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), Teams, and Visio.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Some travel may be required.
