Senior TIBCO Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze and interpret processes developed in TIBCO BusinessWorks, identifying current flows, business rules, integrations, dependencies, and behaviors.

• Evaluate the TIBCO services slated for modernization.

• Confirm the artifacts produced by the migration tool for Java/Spring Boot.

• Compare the original TIBCO implementation with the generated Java code to ensure functional and technical equivalence.

• Identify any gaps, inconsistencies, or loss of business rules throughout the migration process.

• Assess whether the produced microservices comply with Java/Spring Boot architecture standards and principles.

• Analyze APIs, integrations, contracts, error handling, and dependencies among services.

• Validate non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, resilience, availability, and operational continuity.

• Review and validate automatically generated tests to ensure sufficient coverage of relevant scenarios.

• Assist in identifying and resolving inconsistencies encountered during migration cycles.

• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, QA, and other team members.

• Engage in validation, technical review, and user acceptance testing cycles for migrated services.

• Document outcomes, gaps, technical decisions, and validation evidence for each migration cycle.

• Assist in defining acceptance criteria for modernized services.

• Act as the technical reference for TIBCO BusinessWorks throughout the modernization process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting TIBCO processes and flows.

• Capability to identify existing business rules, integrations, dependencies, and behaviors.

• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting TIBCO integrations.

• Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with REST API development and integration.

• Ability to analyze Java code and evaluate its equivalence to the original TIBCO solution.

• Understanding of integration patterns, exception handling, and inter-service communication.

• Knowledge of microservices and API architecture.

• Experience in integrating systems and services.

• Proficiency in examining integration contracts, payloads, flows, dependencies, and error handling.

• Knowledge of architectural and development best practices for distributed applications.

• Experience with or familiarity with code review processes and artifacts automatically generated by AI/modernization tools.

• Strong critical-thinking skills for assessing automatically generated code, tests, and documentation.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to detect discrepancies between expected behavior and the output generated by the tool.

• Experience with technical documentation and recording validation evidence.
