This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medications for suitable patients.
• Promote approved BMS product indications within a specified territory or region while meeting or exceeding sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Engage healthcare providers through unique customer experiences and scientific discussions that align with product labeling.
• Establish and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community physicians, medical groups, office staff, and other patient care stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Utilize SOPHIA and CE^3 to extract insights, inform call strategies, and create dynamic call planning.
• Provide feedback on field tools to leadership.
• Present approved scientific information to healthcare providers through in-office presentations and lunch-and-learns.
• Organize external speaker programs, including the selection, scheduling, and logistics of approved speakers.
• Maintain expertise in emerging data for approved indications.
• Engage Medical on Call for unsolicited inquiries and complex technical questions.
• Collaborate with other field teams and BMS functions to enhance customer experience.
• Gather and share customer insights internally.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
• Ability to accurately and convincingly communicate scientific or clinical data to physicians.
• Experience in building and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and customer influence networks.
• Cardiovascular experience is preferred.
• Strong account management abilities, exceptional selling skills, and a demonstrated history of sales performance.
• Proven selling and promotional skills with a track record of success.
• Capability to work effectively across various functions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical data.
• Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data.
• Ability to segment HCPs and customize communications and product presentations accordingly.
• Proficiency in using CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.
• Competence in using CE^3 and software or CRM tools to collect, input, and manage compliant data.
• Ability to effectively utilize Medical on Call technology.
• Strong business acumen with the capacity to develop, execute, and adjust business plans.
• High integrity and sound judgment in alignment with BMS policies and procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the state of residence.
• Must have a driving risk level that is deemed acceptable by the Company.
