Senior Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Test Engineers to define the testing scope for each product and release, including the definition, review, and documentation of test scenarios.

• Organize testing activities, monitor progress and strategies, align priorities, and coordinate with relevant parties regarding environments and tools.

• Evaluate product quality by analyzing requirements and design documentation, and by creating test scenarios, test cases, and test data, which includes test automation.

• Conduct product quality assessments and document test results.

• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance product quality through requirements review and improvements in testing strategies.

• Utilize test-analysis and test-automation methodologies to ensure coverage of requirements and facilitate rapid, reliable test execution.

• Integrate with the Development team and collaborate closely with a key client's IT team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in IT along with a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT.

• Proven experience in developing effective test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases, including their execution.

• Proficiency in API testing using Postman, Kreya, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with databases, SQL, containerized solutions, and observability tools.

• Experience in writing and modifying automated tests.

• Background in system integration testing.

• Strong understanding of testing standards and methodologies.

• Competence in defect management, including prioritization and root-cause analysis.

• Experience in integrating complex enterprise systems.

• Background in managing end-user (UAT) processes.

• Familiarity with test and defect management tools.

• Experience with agile software development and testing practices.

• Ability to comprehend business contexts, set priorities, communicate effectively with technology-focused teams, and convey test campaign results.

• Proficient command of English.
