Document Management Software Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze user stories, interface specifications, functional requirements, and business processes to pinpoint test scenarios, edge cases, acceptance criteria, and cross-system integration needs.

• Create, develop, and sustain test cases and scripts for CCARS functionality, SAP integrations, document workflows, interfaces, and related processes.

• Assess CCARS content capture, document processing, indexing, metadata, routing, workflow, retrieval, permissions, and records management capabilities.

• Confirm inbound and outbound document/data exchanges between SAP and CCARS, including interface processing, metadata/field mappings, status updates, error handling, reconciliation, and end-to-end traceability.

• Evaluate multi-system workflows across CCARS and SAP, covering submission, routing, approvals, notifications, status updates, and downstream business processing.

• Validate access controls, user roles, security functions, and document permissions.

• Record defects with reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, and supporting evidence; manage defects until resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, SAP teams, business analysts, product owners, and external system stakeholders.

• Maintain test cases, test data, interface validation artifacts, workflow results, and traceability matrices.

• Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

• Identify and advocate for enhancements in integration testing, coverage, traceability, and QA processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• At least 5 years of manual testing experience with large-scale ERP, enterprise business, or integrated information systems.

• Practical testing experience with CCARS or similar enterprise content, capture, document, records, or workflow management platforms integrated with SAP.

• Experience validating SAP S/4HANA integrations, including interfaces, data mappings, workflows, status updates, error handling, and end-to-end business processes.

• Strong understanding of SAFe, SDLC, Agile development, and Agile testing practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• ISTQB or a similar software testing certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow CWM, Jira, SAP Cloud ALM, or similar tools is preferred.

• Experience testing enterprise content/document/records systems integrated with ERP is preferred.

• Previous experience with federal agencies or the DoD is preferred.

• Up to 10% local travel required.
