Senior Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and execute both manual and automated tests, which include data staging.

• Evaluate and interpret test outcomes.

• Identify and document defects or bugs in accordance with team standards.

• Communicate issues with the architect, software engineers, and support teams.

• Re-test and confirm that defects or bugs have been resolved.

• Provide assistance in various stages of the development lifecycle, including local software deployment for testing.

• Conduct customer demonstrations during Government Acceptance Testing events.

• Serve as a system testing resource for the GTIMS Program.

• Collaborate effectively with a remote team.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• This position may require working on weekends and at night (less than 5% of the time).

⛳️ Requirements

• Active or current DoD Secret Clearance.

• Over 4 years of experience in software or test engineering, or at least 2 years of experience on a development team along with 2 years in automated testing.

• Proficient in applying various formal and documented testing methods and tools.

• Experience in configuring performance tests, including environments and load generation.

• Familiarity with Agile development processes, including sprint work, planning, estimation, prioritization, scoping, and demonstrations.

• Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write, modify, and execute SQL queries to support testing processes and validate test data.

• Proven experience using a modern ticket management system.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Active Security+ Certification.

• All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and/or an approved equivalent AI solution.

• Security clearances can only be issued to U.S. citizens; candidates accepting a conditional offer may undergo government security investigations and meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
