This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Coordinate and develop Eggplant automation test scripts, ensuring effective interaction and synchronization with the client, other teams/work streams, and Oracle Health.
• Assess, recommend, and implement automated testing strategies.
• Generate automated testing assets, such as test scripts, schedules, and frameworks, utilizing Eggplant.
• Design, sustain, and enhance Eggplant test scripts and architectures for application products.
• Grasp project architecture, testing environment, and test data requirements.
• Perform comprehensive positive, negative, validation, and regression testing.
• Analyze and understand project requirements.
• Identify and manage defects in accordance with established standards and processes.
• Compose detailed status reports, test execution reports, and test analysis reports.
• Design, implement, and execute test and evaluation procedures to ensure compliance with health information technology system requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing testing knowledge for complex to highly complex software/hardware health IT applications.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and clients, organizing and presenting the information and data necessary to achieve testing objectives.
• Engage in collaborative meetings with the VA EHRM customer, teammates, VA project teams, and other stakeholders.
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical software testing and leading testing efforts.
• 3-4 years of prior experience as a testing automation engineer.
• Familiarity with test management tools and test automation frameworks, particularly Eggplant.
• Knowledge of the Oracle Health Millennium healthcare domain.
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical workflows, policies, procedures, and patient care/clinical business processes.
• Extensive experience in the software testing lifecycle.
• Proficient in writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Experience in communicating status and presenting defects to stakeholders.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must successfully undergo a comprehensive Government background screening, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.
• Proficient in Eggplant, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Oracle Health Millennium, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience with VA electronic health records is advantageous.
• Background in a clinical setting and knowledge of clinical workflows.
• Familiarity with VA healthcare software applications.
• Business knowledge of healthcare applications.
• Experience utilizing Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with OpenText Application Lifecycle Management is a plus.
• Familiarity with OpenText Unified Functional Testing is a plus.
• Understanding of risk-based testing methodologies.
