This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Implement the business territory strategy within the assigned area, encompassing marketing, business development, and annual growth objectives for insurance products.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Represent and advocate for Westfield through agency visits, networking efforts, and community engagement.
• Identify opportunities within agencies and connect them with the relevant company resources.
• Offer agencies support in underwriting, training, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with Distribution Management on agency planning, tailored compensation, agency requirements, and agency selection.
• Utilize territory knowledge for planning, performance evaluation, risk comprehension, identification of industry trends, and expertise in insurance products.
• Collect competitive and market intelligence and share insights with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Investigate industry topics, trends, competitors, and best practices through events and networking opportunities.
• Work alongside corporate shared services to execute competitive strategies and achieve outcomes.
• Build and leverage partnerships to foster alignment and mutual advantages.
• Prepare and deliver sales reports, dashboards, and visualizations with actionable insights.
• Engage in field-role responsibilities requiring travel at least 25% of the time, including potential short-notice travel or daily driving duties.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Distribution Management, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards for field positions.
• Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge in Sales Support, Sales Data Analysis, Compensation Policies and Procedures, Field Sales, Market Development, Sales Account Management, Data Analysis and Reporting, Insurance Operations, Customer Relationship Management, and Direct Sales.
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, prioritize customer focus, make informed decisions, and learn rapidly.
