Senior Technology Consultant – ETL, Data Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute integration configurations, which include mapping, loading, transforming, testing, and validating data for customer system environments.

• Engage in the design of tailored technology solutions aimed at addressing specific business challenges and opportunities.

• Support the implementation and deployment of technology solutions, encompassing project management, system integration, configuration, testing, and training.

• Leverage the Kinaxis Integration Platform Suite, RR data model, and REST-based API integration capabilities to identify and implement solutions for distinct data flows.

• Collaborate with Kinaxis Support and/or Cloud Services teams to address client security risks or incidents.

• Take part in customer business requirements discovery sessions and formulate integration requirements specifications.

• Assist in deployment workshops to enable customers to realize the value of their investment.

• Communicate directly with customers and internal subject-matter experts, including the Technology Architect, throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5-7 years of pertinent experience in business software consulting, preferably in supply chain or data integration across enterprise-level systems.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Familiarity with the software deployment life cycle, comprising business requirements definition, functional specifications, test plans, testing, user training, and deployment.

• Outstanding communication, presentation, facilitation, time management, and customer relationship skills.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.

• Ability to work virtually and be prepared for up to 70% travel.

• Technical proficiency in SQL, R, JavaScript, and Python.

• Experience with manufacturing planning solutions like Kinaxis, SAP, or Blue Yonder; a strong preference for Kinaxis experience.

• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Talend, OWB, SSIS, and SAP Data Services.

• Database-level experience in extracting data from enterprise-class ERP systems, including SAP/APO, Oracle, and JDE.

• Experience in connecting to SAP through BAPI/RFC, databases, files, web, and SOAP.

• Experience working with relational databases and JavaScript.
