This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Compose, revise, and proofread a variety of documents including reports, regulations, articles, newsletters, magazines, press releases, training materials, brochures, handbooks, pamphlets, guidebooks, scholarly works, reference materials, speeches, scripts, and other client deliverables.
β’ Collect, analyze, and create technical information for user manuals, training guides, installation documents, proposals, reports, and related materials.
β’ Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and quality.
β’ Conduct research and guarantee the correct usage of technical, medical, and healthcare terminology.
β’ Simplify complex technical data into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Work collaboratively with technical personnel, subject matter experts, analysts, project managers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
β’ Create and maintain documentation for VHA CCPI data analytics, systems, processes, workflows, and operations.
β’ Examine source materials to pinpoint inconsistencies, information gaps, terminology discrepancies, and areas for clarity enhancement.
β’ Implement writing, editing, formatting, and documentation standards.
β’ Utilize computer-based systems and documentation tools to produce, edit, format, organize, and manage technical content.
β’ Integrate stakeholder feedback and revisions while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and version control.
β’ Assist with documentation templates, style guides, standard operating procedures, and editorial workflows.
β’ Oversee multiple documentation projects and priorities while adhering to schedules and deadlines.
β’ Ensure all documentation is professional, technically precise, well-structured, and suitable for the intended audience.
β’ Promote continuous enhancement of documentation processes and the quality of deliverables.
β’ Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution.
β’ A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in technical writing, technical editing, communications, documentation, or a related discipline.
β’ Extensive experience in writing and editing professional and technical materials, such as reports, training documents, user manuals, proposals, system documentation, and client deliverables.
β’ Solid experience with computer-based systems and documentation tools.
β’ Experience in gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information.
β’ Proficient in editing functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other technical documents.
β’ Experience in conducting research and applying technical terminology, including in the medical and healthcare fields.
β’ Strong knowledge of medical and healthcare industry terminology.
β’ Capability to convert complex technical information into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical personnel.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading abilities.
β’ Keen attention to detail and a strong ability to maintain accuracy and consistency.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams.
β’ Competence in managing multiple assignments, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.
β’ Must be able to obtain and sustain the necessary federal public trust clearance.
