Technical Content Writer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and customize content for AfterQuery’s brand and founder social media profiles, including X and LinkedIn, ensuring a unique and cohesive voice for each platform.

• Produce technical and non-technical blog articles that encompass research, industry insights, company news, and narratives from the team and expert community.

• Transform research papers, technical discoveries, and discussions with subject-matter experts into clear, accessible content.

• Compose thought leadership pieces from the founder, hiring announcements, and other public-facing written communications.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to collect input, refine messaging, and integrate feedback.

• Adapt and repurpose ideas across different channels, modifying tone, depth, and format to suit each audience.

• Ensure the accuracy of claims and sources, uphold editorial quality, and manage established content priorities and deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in writing content for an AI, software, data infrastructure, or similar technical organization.

• Solid understanding of AI and machine learning, with the capability to research unfamiliar subjects and accurately convey technical concepts.

• Exceptional writing and editing abilities for social media, long-form articles, and corporate communications.

• Skill in adapting between founder, brand, and contributor voices, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A portfolio that showcases clear thinking, compelling storytelling, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capacity to convert briefs, discussions, and source materials into polished drafts while independently managing a part-time workload.

• Must be remote and based in the US.

• Preferred: Experience writing about foundation models, training data, human feedback, or model evaluation.

• Preferred: Background in ghostwriting for founders, executives, or technical experts.

• Preferred: Experience working with researchers, engineers, or teams in early-stage startups.
