Product Documentation Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the customer-facing documentation set, which includes release articles, live articles, and outdated content.

• Ensure that every customer-facing release article is published on the same day the release is launched.

• Verify published content for accuracy against the product and platform.

• Manage and address feedback on live articles.

• Revise, rewrite, and update older documentation as necessary.

• Create screenshots, screen recordings, and concise walkthroughs for releases.

• Transform feature specifications into published articles.

• Collaborate with the Russian-speaking product team to grasp product behavior and articulate it in English using the Fundraise Up style and structure.

• Review drafts generated by AI, verify claims against the product, and edit until they are finalized.

• Work alongside English-speaking colleagues across various departments to identify any gaps in documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in writing technical or product documentation, or technical content.

• Demonstrated ability to manage documentation from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

• Near-native proficiency in written English (C1/C2).

• Proficient in Russian to effectively source product behavior directly from a Russian-speaking team.

• Capability to read technical specifications, understand basic API behavior, and write about it accurately.

• Skill in recording, editing, and delivering clear screen-recorded walkthroughs.

• Self-sufficient with the ability to apply standards independently.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing contexts and priorities.

• Actively utilizing AI in day-to-day tasks and recognizing where it adds value.
