📋 Description

• Take ownership of the documentation strategy for at least one product domain.

• Oversee product releases, assess documentation requirements, and organize documentation tasks.

• Collaborate with documentation writers, product managers, engineers, product teams, and field personnel.

• Leverage user behavior, field insights, and adoption metrics to pinpoint documentation deficiencies.

• Engage in product management discussions.

• Compose and refine how-to guides, reference materials, landing pages, and overviews.

• Test documented features utilizing the software, command line, and API testing tools.

• Evaluate documentation for technical precision and compliance with established guidelines.

• Maintain, update, revise, and phase out existing documentation.

• Enhance documentation processes, document management, and Git-based version control systems.

• Assist in planning documentation tasks to ensure timely delivery.

• Develop or enhance documentation workflows, Vale rules, documentation platforms, and auto-generated documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience collaborating with other technical writers within a documentation team.

• Background as a technical writer in a software organization or startup environment.

• Familiarity with AI and AI-native workflows, including skill development using MCP servers.

• Knowledge of software testing, encompassing APIs and command line tools.

• Practical experience in software testing.

• Proficiency in working within the command line environment.

• Strong experience with Git.

• Experience in maintaining, managing, and reviewing documentation in a docs-as-code setting.
