Senior Technical Support / Application Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to clients implementing Workshop Control

• Diagnose and resolve intricate integration and support challenges

• Examine errors related to Workshop Control, customer systems, interfaces, and local setups

• Review log files, error notifications, files, transmission routes, and system configurations

• Address issues concerning user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions

• Assess and modify PowerShell scripts

• Assist with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and service account challenges

• Investigate issues related to networks, files, printing, archiving, and handover

• Offer support for REST, JSON, XML, and other system integrations

• Reproduce and identify problems

• Collaborate on further resolutions with Development, DevOps, and external partners

• Articulate technical topics clearly to clients

• Document root causes, resolution strategies, and recurring challenges

• Contribute to the development of a sustainable knowledge base for Support

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in technical support, application support, systems operations, system integration, or a similar role

• Strong grasp of how various applications, interfaces, and technical environments function together

• Proven experience in analyzing complex technical challenges

• Basic to proficient understanding of Windows and Microsoft environments

• Experience with PowerShell, especially in reading, modifying, and creating smaller scripts

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, users, groups, and permissions

• Understanding of networks, files, services, service accounts, and automated processes

• Experience with log files, REST APIs, JSON, or XML

• Capability to systematically isolate technical problems and communicate them clearly

• Customer-centric and professional communication abilities

• Independent, solution-focused, and detail-oriented work approach
