This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Automotive Application Engineers.

• Offer technical expertise, project prioritization, and support for professional growth.

• Act as the main technical liaison for automotive clients in northern Mexico.

• Assist with product recommendations, application development, testing, troubleshooting, and demonstrations.

• Foster relationships with customer engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operational teams.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, quality assurance, manufacturing, and global technical resources.

• Identify opportunities for growth and enhance customer success.

• Travel domestically up to 50%.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in engineering.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in application engineering, technical service, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or customer-facing technical support.

• Proficient communication skills in English (intermediate to advanced level).

• Experience in supporting automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, or industrial manufacturing clients.

• Previous experience in supervisory, team lead, or people management roles.

• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes or materials applications.

• Familiarity with tapes, adhesives, acoustics, films, thermal management, or related technologies.

• Strong problem-solving, project management, and customer relationship management skills.

• Ability to balance team leadership with direct technical support for customers.

• Willingness to travel regularly within Mexico, particularly in the Northwest and border regions.

• Possession of a current, valid Driver’s License.
