Senior Technical Sales Specialist, Single-Use Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Identify and pursue new opportunities while leveraging the product portfolio to establish a foundation for sustained growth.

• Accelerate closure rates by managing the existing pipeline of opportunities.

• Employ intelligence-driven prospecting techniques to uncover new potential opportunities.

• Focus on New Product Introduction prospects within the territory to enhance adoption rates and revenue generation.

• Respond to marketing-qualified leads promptly and convert them into new opportunities.

• Collaborate with and influence Bioproduction Account Managers and Field Application Scientists within the region to formulate and execute account growth strategies.

• Support BioProduction Account Managers in the designated territory with sales and account planning initiatives to meet sales targets.

• Assist in creating technical solutions for complex opportunities.

• Continuously improve and maintain technical knowledge of assigned product lines, company literature, and driven products.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a life-science field is mandatory, such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering.

• Proven experience in sales or a related functional role connected to the bioproduction process.

• Experience with single-use technologies is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated capability to collaborate across various functions and departments.

• Technical knowledge of bioproduction workflows and applications is essential.

• Exhibits sound judgment and tact when interacting with both internal and external customers.

• Strong comprehension of customer challenges and the development of effective solutions.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.

• Prior experience in consultative selling and/or hardware equipment sales is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• A valid driver's license is necessary.
