This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Collaborate with the client’s Price and Promotions team alongside cross-functional stakeholders.
• Discover, assess, and prioritize growth opportunities within assortment, pricing, promotion, distribution, customer, and category management initiatives.
• Create fact-based analyses that address various business inquiries.
• Responsibly interpret data and outputs generated by AI.
• Convert findings into actionable recommendations to aid client decision-making.
• Prepare clear presentations that communicate analytical insights, AI-generated outputs, and their business implications.
• Assist in the adoption and expansion of Circana solutions, platforms, and sanctioned AI capabilities.
• Work in collaboration with Client Insights, Analytics, Product, Technology, Enablement, and Commercial teams.
• Oversee assigned projects and workstreams, addressing risks, trade-offs, and prioritization requirements.
• Keep track of retail, category, consumer, competitive, and technology trends.
• Share expertise in analytics, best practices, platform knowledge, and insights on responsible AI usage.
• Spot opportunities to enhance Circana data, software, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Offer client and market feedback to refine offerings and increase adoption.
• Cultivate relationships with retailers and act as a thought partner to merchants.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience using Circana, NIQ, IRI, or similar syndicated data sources.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a concentration in Business, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in sales, category management, shopper insights, consumer insights, marketing, analytics, or a similar data-driven role within CPG, retail, or consulting.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver insights in a dynamic client environment.
• Ability to convert stakeholder needs into analytical frameworks and quantifiable business outcomes.
• Skill in synthesizing data, analyses, and AI-generated outputs into practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with syndicated data platforms such as Unify+ and Circana analytical tools.
• Responsible usage of approved AI-enabled tools.
• Proficient in building trusted partnerships and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration across analytics, client insights, sales, product, technology, and enablement teams.
• Solid understanding of retail merchandising, category management, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Preferred experience supporting CVS or another large retailer.
• Experience assisting retail merchants and category managers is preferred.
• Ability to present recommendations to business stakeholders is preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check may be necessary.
