This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the entire recruiting process for technical, scientific, and operations positions, from sourcing and intake to scheduling, enhancing candidate experience, extending offers, and finalizing hires.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role specifications, devise recruiting strategies, and develop structured interview frameworks.
• Actively seek out top-tier candidates.
• Manage offer negotiations in accordance with the company's compensation philosophy and market-aligned pay scales.
• Clearly and transparently communicate compensation, equity, and benefits to candidates.
• Monitor hiring and onboarding metrics, suggesting actionable improvements based on data.
• Cultivate the employer brand while ensuring a candidate experience aligned with company values.
• Assist in developing fair, equitable, and inclusive hiring practices.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions for new employees.
• Participate in various HR projects as needed.
• Report directly to the Director of HR within the Finance & Operations team.
• Work collaboratively with Clinical Delivery, Commercial, Engineering, Product, and R&D teams.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in full-cycle recruiting, particularly for technical positions.
• Proven experience in recruiting for a startup or growth-stage healthtech, biotech, life sciences, or clinical research organization.
• Background in hiring for scientific or technical roles, including Data Science and Machine Learning, along with managerial positions.
• Strong sourcing capabilities and a proven history of successfully closing competitive candidates.
• Experience utilizing data to manage the recruitment funnel, covering metrics such as time-to-fill, pass-through rates, offer acceptance, and source quality.
• Ability to grasp and articulate scientific and clinical concepts sufficiently to present technical roles credibly to candidates.
• Experience using AI tools for sourcing and outreach purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, characterized by warmth and clarity; adept at establishing trusting relationships while handling confidential information discreetly.
• Experience in a high-growth AI company is a plus.
• Familiarity with Ashby is beneficial.
• History of implementing enhancements in hiring systems is advantageous.
• Interest in HR and related project areas is desirable.
