📋 Description

• Manage 8–10 engineering and technical recruitment processes from start to finish, including kickoff to signed offer.

• Collaborate with engineering hiring managers to establish role specifications and address any discrepancies in market expectations.

• Identify and attract infrastructure, backend, SDK, and AI engineers who are not currently seeking new opportunities.

• Gain insights into candidate motivations and develop strategies to engage them effectively.

• Create talent pipelines for ongoing roles.

• Conduct a transparent, genuine, and straightforward hiring process that prioritizes candidate experience.

• Assist in the development of Talent team resources, such as sourcing playbooks and interview kits.

• Act as a Talent Business Partner for the LiveKit team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive technical recruiting experience, primarily in-house.

• Proven track record of managing and successfully concluding senior and staff-level engineering searches.

• Capability to engage in meaningful discussions with engineers regarding their work.

• Strong proactive sourcing skills and the ability to maintain a robust candidate pool.

• Experience in recruiting for infrastructure, developer tools, open source, or AI sectors.

• Background in establishing or overhauling a recruiting process from the ground up.

• Competence in attracting top talent despite competition from large technology firms.

• Familiarity with Ashby and Gem is a plus.

• Experience in executive recruiting is also a plus.

• Legal authorization to work in the US or in the country of residence is required.
