Project Manager, Digital Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery of the Smart Factory digital platform project, from scope definition and planning to deployment, stabilization, and realization of benefits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital, IT, OT, Engineering, Operations, Process Areas, Cybersecurity, and external partners.

• Convert business use cases into actionable delivery plans and measurable outcomes.

• Administer integrated project plans, budgets, resources, vendor contracts, testing, validation, training, site readiness, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder reporting.

• Manage external partners, vendors, statements of work, and contract deliverables.

• Facilitate Agile execution, backlog coordination, release planning, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, and documentation.

• Keep project documentation up to date, including status reports, decision logs, risk registers, and lessons learned.

• Address technical and business obstacles related to data platforms, system integrations, manufacturing connectivity, and site deployment challenges.

• Oversee implementations involving manufacturing data acquisition, contextualization, integration, visualization, and analytics.

• Coordinate reusable core platform capabilities such as access management, master data management, notification services, and generic UI components.

• Ensure governance, testing, documentation, and release readiness for shared platform services.

• Oversee AI Agent delivery governance, covering use-case intake, risk assessment, approval workflows, human-in-the-loop controls, auditability, cybersecurity alignment, and responsible adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of project management experience delivering digital, software, data, automation, or manufacturing technology projects within industrial environments.

• Proven experience in executing complex cross-functional programs across global teams, manufacturing sites, vendors, and technology partners.

• Extensive knowledge of digital platform project delivery, manufacturing data platforms, industrial data architecture, OT/IT integration, manufacturing connectivity, data acquisition, contextualization, integration, visualization, analytics, cybersecurity requirements, data governance, and relevant regulatory practices.

• Experience with Smart Factory platforms, shared platform services, access management, master data management, notification services, standardized UI components, AI Agent governance, and industrial data platforms such as Cognite Data Fusion or similar solutions is highly preferred.

• Strong capabilities in project planning, stakeholder communication, risk and dependency management, executive reporting, facilitation, influencing, problem-solving, Agile delivery, release planning, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, documentation, and tracking value realization.

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in project management, Agile, Scrum, software delivery, data platforms, automation, or manufacturing technology are preferred but not mandatory.
