Senior Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical execution of customer projects from the initial planning phase to final completion.

• Create preliminary proposals for target architecture and interface design.

• Work collaboratively with customers both remotely and on-site, aiding in requirements through to production deployment.

• Promote teamwork with operational and technical customer representatives to enhance product adoption and system integration.

• Serve as the internal advocate for the customer while working alongside Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Support.

• Convert clinical processes and business needs into technical interface and integration concepts.

• Partner with Solution Architects and Technical Consultants to provide assistance through technical concepts, proofs of concept, and reference solutions.

• Assume additional responsibilities in technical consulting, requirements management, or presales support.

• Establish project scope, objectives, requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, project control, and reporting.

• Oversee data integration projects to ensure smooth system connectivity.

• Recognize project risks and formulate risk mitigation strategies.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Keep all stakeholders updated on project progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, preferably within a hospital setting.

• A considerable amount of experience in technical project management, solution delivery, or a similar technical role.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, eHealth, or a related field.

• Several years of experience managing healthcare technology projects.

• Experience in overseeing complex interface and data integration projects in clinical environments.

• Practical experience with clinical processes, IT architectures, and systems such as HIS, RIS, PACS, and ERP.

• Familiarity with HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, and DICOM; knowledge of openEHR is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel for customer engagements as necessary for the project, mainly within German-speaking countries.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various departments.

• Clear, friendly, and service-oriented communication skills, coupled with a strong customer orientation.

• Independent, solution-driven, and business-minded approach, with exceptional organizational abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and foster enduring customer relationships.

• Proficient in both German and English.
